Good Wife
- She should have noble character.
- She should be worthy of her husband's confidence.
- She should be working toward her husband's good, not his harm.
- She should be willing to work eagerly with her hands (i.e., willing to do practical tasks).
- She must be willing to sacrifice her own comfort for the needs of her family.
- She should be financially resourceful.
- She should be diligent.
- She should be willing to love and serve the poor.
- She should plan ahead for the needs of her family.
- She should take good care of herself to keep herself attractive to her husband.
- She should inspire and encourage her husband to be a leader in the community.
- She should be strong and dignified.
- She must be a born-again Christian, able to give testimony of her salvation.
- She should be patient.
- She should be kind.
- She should not be envious.
- She should be humble.
- She should be not easily angered.
- She should not hold a grudge.
- She should not delight in evil.
- She should rejoice with the truth.
- She should be a protector.
- She should be trusting.
- She should have hope.
- She should persevere.
- She should be loving.
- She should be joyful.
- She should be good.
- She should be peaceful.
- She should be faithful.
- She should be gentle.
- She must have self-control.
- She should be a hard worker.
- She must love the Lord with all her heart, soul, mind, and body.
- She should walk in all God's ways.
- She should hold fast to the Lord.
- She should not worry, but turn to God in prayer.
- She should press onward toward the goal.
- She should build others up with her words.
- She must have not even a hint of sexual immorality or impurity.
- She should not joke coarsely or say inappropriate things.
- She should not gossip.
- She should not be greedy.
- She must not be yoked with unbelievers.
- She should be the salt of the earth and light of the world and obey the Great Commission.
- She should like children.
- She should be committed to Christian fellowship.
- She should keep her priorities straight.
- She should have a sense of humor.
- She should be intelligent.
- She should not be overweight (a violation of the principle of self-control).
- She should be committed to staying out of debt.
- She must be committed to homeschooling.
- She should have some kind of musical ability.
- She must be attractive to me.
- She should have daily quiet times with the Lord.
- She should love Israel and the Chosen People.
- She must submit to her husband's authority.
