Obama quits in shame

Yes, that heading is just a teaser—wishful thinking—but it just might happen by the end of the year. If both Houses of Congress lose their Democratic majorities (to the Republicans <shudder>), Obozo may see the rest of his term as being quite irrelevant, and rightfully so. Given all the scandal surrounding his secret past and sure ineligibility, he may take this opportunity to bow out before he is brought up on charges of treason. » read more »

The end is near

The end is near. Are you ready? Will you be found in obedience when the Master returns? Are you holy, set apart from the ways of the world? Does the whole of your life belong the Lord alone? Will ישוע (Jesus) the King recognize you as His servant? Time is short. Now is the time to make your chosen allegiance clear for all time.

Obama invites foreign invaders

Obama has illegally ordered the Border Patrol to withdraw from the border, cease capturing illegals and/or release them, and all but stopped fines and raids of employers also aiding and abetting foreign invaders. Just how much longer will lawful Americans permit this traitorous usurper to continue betraying our nation?

Man's mind

I just added a new quotation to TC's rotation.

A man's mind is no place for a woman.

It's a well known joke among men, though women interpret it wrongly every time. Don't ever ask a man what he's thinking. Explaining this as nicely as possible, avoiding the harsh light of full revelation, the brutality of men's thoughts offends the sensibilities of women. » read more »

Flag flies freely

A modicum of justice occurs, here in GA, as a matter of fact.

CANTON, Ga. - Ron Tripodo has lived in Canton's Bridgemill subdivision for two years. For most of that time he has been involved in a flagpole fight. The 16-foot tall fixture hasn't flown well with the Bridgemill Homeowners Association.

"I got a letter saying, 'Take your flag down. You can put it in your backyard' and I just refused to do it," Tripodo. » read more »

Mexico patrolling NYC

Mexican police patrolling NYC:

In a series of events which has caused wide notice and a storm of protests, the government of Mexico, through its consulate in New York in the United Nations, has announced it will begin patrolling the New York City borough of Staten Island to “safeguard” its nationals there. » read more »

Parental Hate

|

How can parents say they love their children when they do this to them?

We're at his classroom. We're supposed to leave right away. They told us that in Parents' Orientation. They said hanging around only makes it worse. It couldn't be any worse. Robby is fighting panic, asking questions, stalling to keep us there, tears running quietly down his cheeks.

"How many hours will it be?" he asks. » read more »

Changing ideology

On a thread about politically paid bloggers*, one commenter noted:

It is near [sic] impossible to change people's political ideologies, and it is completely impossible to change the ideology of people when you insult them.

Decay rates vary

Surprise, surprise. Evidence is showing the sun is affecting radioactive decay rates, long thought to be immutable constants. If decay rates can vary, then the foundation for all ancient dating methods is bogus. Along with other, mounting evidence against an old earth, this suggests young-earthers may be right*. » read more »

TuscanyCircle Changes

TuscanyCircle is undergoing some aesthetic changes today. Enjoy the show.

Update: The changes are mostly done now. I expect to fix some minor issues as I encounter them. Feel free to let me know of problems you see. For the most part, though, the new look is now in place. You may have to reload/refresh the page or possibly purge your browser's cache to see the new look intact.

Children are our future

Nealz Nuze explores what's in store for our nation's future.

PrezBo is officially vacationing in Martha's Vineyard. So a local paper sent an intern out to the streets to ask teenagers around Martha's Vineyard what they would ask Barack Obama if they ran into him. Here we go with some of the responses ..

Sovereign Citizens

| | |

These people are definitely not terrorists by any stretch of the imagination. They may be thieves, but they're definitely not terrorists. It's even arguable that the RICO Act does not apply to them, if there's no actual racketeering or organized crime (the unconstitutionality of the RICO Act notwithstanding). » read more »

Sad anniversary

Google is celebrating a very sad anniversary today:

Celebrating 90 years since the ratification of the 19th Amendment, guaranteeing women the right to vote

The 19th is just another abomination significantly responsible for the decline and imminent demise of our civilization. Yeah, let's celebrate that.

Kathy

Please pray for Kathy, as she has just been diagnosed with cancer. The prognosis seems grim...to the world. Her perfect health can be restored with a new body, if this is what the Lord has in mind for her, or He may see fit to restore her mortal body. Pray for her healing, be it worldly or heavenly, temporary and limited to this life or eternal and perfect. Pray for the Lord's will and for all concerned to see Him and His work in her. And pray for her husband and [grown] kids, that they may find God's peace through all of this.

Wicked Lasers

In my first transaction with Wicked Lasers (aka Energy Technology Development Limited), I bought a new product of theirs. They extracted the funds from my credit card immediately, contrary to the ethical and typical practice of taking the funds only upon shipment of the product(s). They then went incommunicado for weeks, even ignoring requests for information. They proceeded to provide one excuse after another for why they hadn't shipped the product, worded to suggest this was common to all customers of this particular product, but I have no good way of verifying that. » read more »

In Defense of Deflation

Almost unanimously, economists express great fear of a deflationary scenario, yet they're all wrong. This is not surprising since their economic worldviews are all wrong. Frank Shostak does a great job proving Bernanke an idiot, albeit much more kindly than I would. » read more »

Stephen Hawking is stupid

Stephen Hawking has always been a bit of an idiot, despite his undeserved reputation otherwise. Granted, his Hawking Radiation was a good theory (even if vain), but his contributions otherwise have been abysmal. For example, in his famous book, A Brief History of Time, he utterly failed to recognize the consequences of basic spacetime curvature near his mythical Big Bang, to say nothing of completely missing the signs of geocentric expansion (and rotation) and the relativistic implications thereof. » read more »

AZ's Brewer

Unlike most so-called conservatives—I'm either not really a conservative, or else this term has been usurped—I do not praise Arizona's governor, Jan Brewer. In some sense, she is standing up to the federal government, but she is doing it as a slave, not as a member of a free state. SB1070 is a state matter, and the federal government, shackled by the Constitution, has no authority over immigration*. » read more »

No Census

|

Oddly, we never received a visit from the census man this year. Or maybe we did, he saw our postings, and wisely fled still unannounced. It's a small victory, to be sure (very small), but against an evil behemoth like the fedgov, I'll take it. » read more »

Rifqa saved from parents

Looks like the court has finally ruled in favor of Rifqa—a first for her from any court. The young Christian need not return to her murderous parents, fundamental adherents to Islam. Now she just needs to find a way to stay in the country legally, since her parents are illegal aliens and smuggled their kids in when they were young. I should think refugee status would apply, since her home country is Islamic and wants her dead, too, but this truth will guarantee the fedgov denies her refugee status.

Prayer request

| |

Please pray for Dan, my friend and brother in the Lord. He suffers from Multiple Sclerosis, and he recently experienced the worst attack of his life. It has had some severe effects that greatly affect the quality of his life and that of his family. The doctors have said that there is little to nothing that they can do at this point, but we do not place our faith in doctors. Please pray for the Lord to intervene and restore Dan to full strength. If you know any other prayer warriors or groups, please pass this request along to them. Praise God for the healing He is working in Dan's life!

Journalists hate Israel and truth

Corporations aren't real

I was recently accused of being pro-corporation because I work in that world. Let's set the record straight. I am anti-corporation. I work for corporations because, in my profession, I have no legal choice. Corporations are not merely groups of people coming together for a common purpose. Corporations exist by the power of government, a huge, red flag that they are a violation of natural law. » read more »

Gwinnett recycling

Gwinnett's fascist trash service has been implemented for a month now. Service is declining, of course. The trash company is very hard to reach (I had to raise a stink with my county commissioners). They leave bins in the middle of the roads. They block traffic and run out into traffic without looking. The best part, though, is the recycling. » read more »

Federal tyranny falls on AZ

|

A federal judge, a woman wanting to make a name for herself, issued an injunction against several elements of Arizona's anti-illegal-alien law that goes into effect today. ALIPAC is urging the people to remain calm in the face of this obviously unconstitutional and immoral ruling. I appreciate ALIPAC's response, but just when will the people be called to arms against this runaway fedgov? How bad will the tyranny have to be before it's bad enough to warrant an armed, defensive response? » read more »

Don't bring a gun to a fist fight

In a recent incident, two men got into a fist fight due to road rage on an I-75 off ramp. While these were certainly good intentions, and while I am pleased to see that the D.A. » read more »

Record police, get 16 years

|

Anthony Graber faces up to sixteen years in prison for videotaping a policeman draw his gun during a traffic stop. Do the masses recognize this kind of reaction, which is increasingly common, as a hallmark of tyranny? I've said it before: rule-of-law is dead. The Republic is dead. It's now accurate to say that government employees, LEOs, and politicians may be reasonably assumed to be criminals unless proven otherwise—abuse of power is now the norm, not the exception.

Due to an increased number of spammers and hackers, I'm afraid I'm increasing security on TuscanyCircle's front door. When logging in, you'll need to pass a CAPTCHA. Should be straightforward. If you don't like the selection, you can request another via CAPTCHA form, and you can even choose an audio version. To make up for this annoyance, I've also extended the login time (how long you stay logged in). Visit the site at least monthly, and your login session should remain active, on any given terminal, for over 3 years. » read more »

Ruling class

|

This is an excellent exploration of our ruling class. Overall, the essay is a very good one, and I encourage you to read it all. Here, I've taken just a few of the author's assertions and commented on them.

Thus does our ruling class stunt itself through negative selection. But the more it has dumbed itself down, the more it has defined itself by the presumption of intellectual superiority. ... Its attitude is key to understanding our bipartisan ruling class. Its first tenet is that "we" are the best and brightest while the rest of Americans are retrograde, racist, and dysfunctional unless properly constrained. How did this replace the Founding generation's paradigm that "all men are created equal"?

Simple: evil. Our ruling class is evil. » read more »

Want to know what will end the world? Stupidity.

New research suggests that misinformed people rarely change their minds when presented with the facts -- and often become even more attached to their beliefs.

Why, then, should TuscanyCircle continue? For those very, very rare few who are earnest truth-seekers, I suppose. The rest of you can (and will) go to hell.

Why Islam will win

Reason suggests the actions of an evil worldview would cause a backlash against that worldview. The Islamic attacks of 9/11 should have created an immediate and powerful bias against Islam. Shock: CEO exhibits intelligence

One CEO, after years of observing the obvious, exhibits a modicum of intelligence. Too bad his peers can't do the same.

Freedom of worship

Hillary Clinton rewrites the First Amendment, substituting "worship" for "religion".

In a speech at Georgetown University, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton delivered a speech on human rights. Not only did she talk about the right "to love in the way you choose," (an obvious attempt at making protecting gay rights a top priority for the U.S. government), she also talked about "freedom of worship."

But she never mentioned freedom of religion. Only freedom of worship. This is a big change. » read more »
