Gwinnett Corruption

Gwinnett County government is corrupt. I should hope that would be obvious to anyone who has had any dealing with, say, the county commissioners. I'm interested in recording some of their corruption. Any ideas on how best to do this?

There's a great deal of cronyism, self-interest (including personal profiteering), and overt tyranny in the form of attempts to control the citizens far beyond that which is allowed by God. For example, the trash debacle has highlighted many instances of corruption and tyranny among the county commissioners.

The county police have exhibited various forms of corruption (e.g., checkpoints, incompetence, trespassing, Tasering innocent people, etc.), not the least of which is commonplace bribery in the form of free services from local establishments. I myself snitched on several Lilburn police officers for what was at least dereliction of duty if not something much worse (dealing?). Police today have practically unlimited power. They cannot be sued if they act "in the performance of their duties", even if that "duty" was morally wrong. Patrolmen can disobey many laws even without flashing their lights or sounding their sirens, making them unaccountable for when there is no legitimacy for their lawlessness. Any questioning of their authority, especially if you mention the Constitution, is very likely to get you Tasered and arrested. [I feel I should be fair and mention that the older cops tend to be more even keeled, having grown up in an era of relative freedom. The younger ones tend to be more abusive of their power.] Sadly, the types of people attracted to law enforcement, those seeking power and possibly suffering inferiority complexes, are the very ones who should never be given a badge, let alone weapons.

Then there are bus drivers. These must be the dumbest people in the county, if their driving habits are any indication. I've personally witnessed numerous school and "public" buses nearly run over other drivers. I've a friend who was literally just hit but a government bus the other day. The bus swerved out of its turn lane for no apparent reason, knocking my friend (who was alongside the bus) into the next lane over as it destroyed one side of her vehicle. The police refused to cite the bus driver, of course, claiming an inability to discern the sequence of events (though anyone who's taken even high school physics could not have mistaken the events). I don't believe these people are smart enough for the amount of power they wield, bus drivers or police.

Government is the power of force. Power corrupts. These are easily defended truths. Gwinnett County is no exception, its numerous governmental agencies rife with corruption and abuse of power. How should we track such instances? Comments to this blog? What else can be done by average citizens without the power to build a legal case but with the likelihood of becoming victims of the abuse of power?

School Bus Safety

Finally getting fed up with numerous school bus dangers, I decided to start working my way through government to figure out how to hold dangerous and errant drivers accountable. I cannot say for sure if the accountability is genuine, but I did manage to make contact with the head of the Gwinnett schools' transportation system.

He suggested I send him details of observed incidents so he could follow up accordingly. He said school bus drivers are specifically instructed not to drive aggressively, evidence to the contrary notwithstanding. He sounded as if he welcomed the opportunity to address concerns. He asked that details be given, including the date and time, location, bus number, and a description of the dangerous maneuver. Here is his contact information:

Feel free to contact Mr. Clark and politely inform him of your specific observations as incidents occur. I plan to send him emails periodically with my recorded details. Watch for it. It's coming here, too. Our leaders have done nothing to prevent it. Worse, they are encouraging this evil worldview that is wholly incompatible with civilization, let alone an American civilization.

Definition of love

Love is not a feeling but action (1 John 3:18). To love someone is not merely to have good feelings about them or even to wish them well. True love (brotherly, romantic, or unconditional) is exhibited only by actions, often of self-sacrifice. To say "I love you," is a promise or reflection of selfless actions for the [Godly] benefit of the loved. Without the accompanying actions, the words are a lie. Do not be deceived by your feelings. Instead, choose to act in selfless concern for others, thereby demonstrating true love.

Obedience Yields Safety

If parents raised their own children, per Biblical commands, instead of entrusting them to schools and churches, people like this wouldn't be a problem.

That churches are structured like institutions, rather than remaining Biblically organized, certainly makes it easier for both parents and molesters to get what they want. Parents are all too willing to surrender their duty, to train their own children, to those whom they worship (pastors, teachers). Churches attract molesters and deviants, because they're desperate for volunteers, and children and youth ministries are shunned by most. It's a formula for phenomenal success...at the expense of the children! If you want to protect your children from abuse, do not entrust their keeping to schools and churches.

Youth groups are probably among the most dangerous places for kids today. Besides youth group leaders who are molesters, they are breeding grounds for worldly pitfalls. Only a couple notches better than schools, youth groups still tend to segregate by age (unlike the real world), typically have too few adult leaders proportionate to the number of kids, and practice crowd control more than spiritual training. In my experience, youth groups practice coed lock-ins (sleepovers) without gender segregation, teach kids how to put condoms on bananas, teach them that sex is for those in love rather than marriage, and worse. Kids in youth groups tend to feed off one another, exaggerating any tendencies toward worldliness. Real holiness (being set apart for God) is all but unknown in most youth groups. These are dangerous places to entrust your children—if you value their eternal fate.

Obey the Lord by raising your own children, and a host of dangers can be avoided. Refrain from implicitly trusting churches simply because they claim to be Godly, but audit and question everything. Better yet, do your own job as parents, and molesters and damnation won't be problems for your kids.

She "never thought about" whether or not an unborn child has any rights? Plenty of relative idiots in the population at large have considered this matter, even if they've chosen to deny the unborn the right to life. At least they considered the matter. This <female dog> is a federal judge and nominated to the SCOTUS, yet she's "never thought about it"! If she's representative of the elite in this nation—not an unreasonable hypothesis for federal judges—our nation is so very screwed.

Government Accountability

How is government held accountable? The ultimate means of accountability is via the Second Amendment, though all levels of government work overtime to castrate this God-given right, even going so far as to pollute our very culture with anti-defense nonsense. In theory, elections should be a means of holding elected officials accountable. In practice, ballot access is controlled by the government and its colluding bifactional Republicrat Party. (Georgia is possibly the worst state for ballot access. I've seen this fact at work firsthand.) Division of power is also supposedly a means of holding government accountable. Each branch battles for power against the others, usually keeping the others from expanding beyond Constitutional limits. Occasionally, they conspire—via unspoken, mutually beneficial choices, not necessarily openly—and the citizens are the losers. Other times, there are unchallenged power-grabs. Bush Jr. did several of these, but Obama has risen to new heights of corruption.

Numerous Inspectors General have been fired, "retired", blocked, or otherwise had their power of oversight stripped of them. These positions were created so that there would be impartial parties (yeah, right) to report on government waste and corruption to the American people. Let's set aside the fact the organizations being audited by these IGs are largely unconstitutional. The IGs do not report to the President (or its usurper), per se, but to both the legislative and executives branches. Appointments and firings must clear both branches, I believe. Obama and his cronies, though, have seen fit to render unilaterally several IGs impotent or worse. Senator Grassley is leading the Congressional inquiries into these matters, but frankly, he's not raising the alarm enough.

Human nature is tainted with sin. In government, the very essence of which is power over others, it is our nature to grow increasingly corrupt. Were it not for the Founding Fathers' numerous protections against corruption (many of which have been thoroughly bypassed), our governments would naturally slide very quickly into despotism. It's important to understand this natural trait of government. Good government is not a stable entity. Good government is a delicate balancing act, fragile, and easy to tip toward tyranny. Even small changes can have accelerating effects toward evil.

Obama's now established pattern of eliminating or controlling inspectors general is a significant change in a precariously balanced federal government. (I assert that this "balance" is already quite a ways down the slope of tyranny, but there are fragile forces attempting to keep it from sliding further.) As power-grabs go, this pattern is a small one. However, it's not just another power-grab. It's a very significant lurch down the slope of tyranny. Any familiarity with German history just prior to WWII will reveal many such lurches as Hitler set the stage for his dictatorship. Individually, they may seem insignificant, but when you zoom out to see the bigger picture, they are easily recognized as very dangerous moves.

IGs subjugated? Check.
Ever increasing Executive authority (e.g., "czars")? Check.
An illegal alien as President? Check!
Manufactured, bogus crises available to be used as excuses for more power centralization? Healthcare...check. Global warming...check. Economy...check. Crime...check. Sexual deviants' "rights"...check. Offended Muslims...check.
Perpetual wars? Crime. Drugs. Poverty. Terrorism. Check.
The ability to wage war without Congressional declaration? Check.
Police state? Check.
Gun control? Check.
Government-controlled education? Check.
Dumbed-down populace wholly ignorant of the principles of freedom? Check.
Fascism? Let's see: nearly complete control over private enterprise via oppressive taxation, omnipresent regulation, and now "bailouts". Yep, check.
Total deprivation of privacy? Government has the ability to monitor all financial, consumer, and communication transactions. There is nowhere to hide. Check.
"No-knock" warrants? Midnight raids? Militarized police? Warrantless searches? Random checkpoints? Travel "papers"? Property seizure without due process or recompense (RICO, imminent domain)? Loss of habeas corpus, no trials or representation, indefinite imprisonment incognito (PATRIOT Act)? Check, check, and check.
Total disregard for Constitutional limitations, let alone as originally written and intended? Check.
An unelected, unrestrained, foreign entity openly usurping national sovereignty? Enter the U.N. and its domestic collaborators, and check.

Do we really need handwriting on the wall, too? The stage is well set. We stand on the threshold of tyranny the likes of which the world has never seen. I expect Obama's policies will simply be the last few straws being intentionally placed on the camel's back. With so few obstacles remaining to keep utter totalitarianism at bay, every single one usurpation counts. Not only must we oppose every little power-grab, but we must reverse the countless, established ones, too, if we are to hold our governments accountable. Demand Obama's authority over IGs be renounced, the IGs be reinstated, obstruction of their oversight duties be criminally charged, and some modicum of faith be restored in an otherwise disposably evil fedgov.

Criminal Insanity

Americans prefer to think of mutilating murderers as being insane. Why? Because the truth is much scarier. This kind of murderer doesn't just kill for passion or money; these kill for pleasure. They often enjoy mutilating their victims, dismembering them, splashing their blood on themselves, or even eating parts of their bodies. Almost without hesitation, our culture labels them as mentally ill. However, this is everyday fare among many Muslims.

The reference to Fatah's "arresting" two Israeli soldiers in Ramallah in 2002 left out the details that followed. The two Israeli reservists – Vadim Nurzhitz and Yossi Avrahami – had unintentionally entered Ramallah and were arrested by PA police. The police allowed a Palestinian mob to murder the pair and throw their lifeless bodies out a second floor police window. A crowd then tore apart the bodies and mutilated them beyond recognition. Some Palestinians were recorded dancing and singing in the streets, which were covered in the soldiers' blood.

Arabs are well known for dragging their victims' bodies through the streets after they're murdered. Tearing them up is commonplace. Dismemberment, including decapitation, is also frequently part of their celebration of death.

You can't have it both ways. Either whole Arab and Muslim cultures are mentally ill for their joy in murdering and mutilating Jews and Christians, or the alternative is true here in America, too. If whole cultures are sick in the head, then they forfeit the individual rights afforded free, moral, sane men. They cannot be allowed to self-govern. They cannot be allowed to roam among society. They must be locked away in prison hospitals for the rest of their lives. Or...

If it's too ludicrous to consider a few hundred million people as insane—I don't mean merely psychotic but criminally insane—then we must face the alternative, and we must apply it to our own "criminally insane". The alternative requires merely a basic understanding of evil. The alternative explanation for such disgusting, uncivilized behavior is not insanity but simply evil.

Contrary to pagan/atheist/stupid beliefs, man is not born inherently good. We have inherited a sinful nature. We have the potential and the free will to choose to do good or evil. That's all there is to it. Some choose to do good, and others choose to do evil. It really doesn't take much more analysis than this. Once an evil worldview is adopted—this is our default, by the way—it's only a matter of degree. Once false justifications are made to support one kind of evil, they can be used to support another. (For example, once marriage is no longer defined immutably as one man and one woman, then there's no reason why it can't include multiple men, multiple women, children, animals, or inanimate objects.) In the case of Islam, Jews and Christians are characterized by the Koran as being lower than human and unworthy of life (to say nothing of other human rights), so any ill treatment is justified a priori. In the case of the "criminally insane", their worldviews are often formed in the context of childhood abuse, father issues, and the like. No matter how you slice it, though, our worldviews are chosen, either consciously or subconsciously (usually the latter and usually for the purposes of self-justification). The evil behavior that is the fruit of evil worldviews is natural and expected. There's nothing "insane" about it. The Left, especially those who preach moral relativism so loudly, must choose either to accept these evil worldviews with open arms (or dismembered ones) or renounce relativism.

There's no such thing as criminal insanity. Those who so qualify are merely living out the tenets of their evil worldviews. I don't mind characterizing such mutilating murderers as sick, mind you. They're just not sick in the head. They're sickeningly disgusting in their immorality.
