The vast majority of Christians erroneously believe themselves to be the replacement for God's Chosen People, supplanting the Jews. This is known as Replacement Theology. The only way to hold to this heresy is to deny the Word of God, a dangerous prospect at best. Having accepted the Jewish Messiah, former Gentiles are grafted into the same root as the Jews, so they become Abraham's children and co-inheritors of God's covenants with His people. In a worldy, temporal sense, I agree with Joseph Farah's criticism of the leadership, and citizenry, of Israel. However, my understanding of end-times prophecy forces me to disagree with his prediction that Israel is "terminally ill." Israel will be preserved. The Lord said it, and He does not break His word.

I see something else in modern Israel. I see a people so desperate for peace that they will resort to some extraordinarily stupid means to achieve it.
