Springtime

The sun so bright,
From the morning till the night.
Caterpillars grow so big
They can not crawl on their twig.
Butterflies do flutter around
While ladybugs dance upon the ground.
Honeysuckle to pluck and eat;
Springtime truly is a treat. 
Loving Daughter
Submitted by Wayne on Fri, 2008-10-24 09:37. PoetryMy wife and daughter left this morning to visit our other daughter in South Dakota. She had just returned from her second tour in Iraq. As my younger daughter was saying good-bye, she slipped me a little piece of scrap, folded paper. On the front, she had written:

Decidedly insane.
