Justice

Flag flies freely

A modicum of justice occurs, here in GA, as a matter of fact.

CANTON, Ga. - Ron Tripodo has lived in Canton's Bridgemill subdivision for two years. For most of that time he has been involved in a flagpole fight. The 16-foot tall fixture hasn't flown well with the Bridgemill Homeowners Association.

"I got a letter saying, 'Take your flag down. You can put it in your backyard' and I just refused to do it," Tripodo. » read more »

Sovereign Citizens

These people are definitely not terrorists by any stretch of the imagination. They may be thieves, but they're definitely not terrorists. It's even arguable that the RICO Act does not apply to them, if there's no actual racketeering or organized crime (the unconstitutionality of the RICO Act notwithstanding). » read more »

Record police, get 16 years

|

Anthony Graber faces up to sixteen years in prison for videotaping a policeman draw his gun during a traffic stop. Do the masses recognize this kind of reaction, which is increasingly common, as a hallmark of tyranny? I've said it before: rule-of-law is dead. The Republic is dead. It's now accurate to say that government employees, LEOs, and politicians may be reasonably assumed to be criminals unless proven otherwise—abuse of power is now the norm, not the exception.

Too many laws = No laws

|

The State wants to control every aspect of our lives. It tells us which frequencies our cell phones may use. It tells us when we can text-message and when we can't. It tells us whether or not we must have insurance. It has cameras posted everywhere to watch our every move. It spies on all our business and financial transactions. It presumes our guilt, even to the point of defying proof of innocence, if it wants to get rid of us. Laws and regulations are so numerous, so invasive, so totalitarian that they are very much null and void. » read more »

Free to abuse

| | |

The police do not want us watching while they perform their "duties." They are so intent on this that the legislatures and courts in three states are conspiring to make it illegal to photograph or videotape on-duty policemen.

How can they possible justify this, except as an attempt to avoid accountability? However, as seen in the article, they are admitting anything but.

Thankfully, my state isn't one of the three, but for how long?

Obama's taxes

|

Obama is raising taxes. Duh. He's evil—that's well established—so stealing more money from us is just par for the course. However, and this is what everybody seems to forget, Obama is not capable of passing laws on his own. He can only sign what Congress passes to him. Are you listening, you dirty, corrupt, stupid Congressmen? » read more »

Is racial discrimination immoral?

| |

Is racial discrimination immoral according to God's Law? To put it another way (and I'm not actually certain that this is the same question), do we have the right to avoid discrimination by others based on our race? This is a question I have been considering of late, and I have not come up with a satisfactory answer.

I want to be clear what I mean by "racial discrimination." The only sense that I wish to consider is where a person adopts and acts on a bias based solely on the fact that a person is black, white, Asian, etc. A pair of examples may be instructive here. » read more »

SCOTUS screws Scouts

The Boy Scouts have been betrayed by the Constitutionally incompetent Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court has let stand a ruling saying the Boy Scouts cannot lease city parkland in San Diego because the group is a religious organization.

The high court refused to hear an appeal from San Diego-area Boy Scouts.

The Boy Scouts maintain that they have no theology and only hold the position that children have a "duty to God" to become productive citizens.

Fake FBI invades home

This is one reason why "no-knock" raids should never be practiced.

Gwinnett County Police are looking for men who posed as FBI agents and invaded a woman’s home. » read more »

How is this not a quota?

| |

Roswell police officers who work the overnight shift are required to make 25 DUI arrests a year. But it's not a quota. The article states:

A department spokesman, Lt. James McGee, told the AJC that "there is really no quota, necessarily. I think the verbiage is probably misleading."

Quotas are against department policy, McGee added. » read more »
