TuscanyCircle is undergoing some aesthetic changes today. Enjoy the show.
Update: The changes are mostly done now. I expect to fix some minor issues as I encounter them. Feel free to let me know of problems you see. For the most part, though, the new look is now in place. You may have to reload/refresh the page or possibly purge your browser's cache to see the new look intact.

Prayers
Please pray for Kathy, as she has just been diagnosed with cancer. The prognosis seems grim...to the world. Her perfect health can be restored with a new body, if this is what the Lord has in mind for her, or He may see fit to restore her mortal body. Pray for her healing, be it worldly or heavenly, temporary and limited to this life or eternal and perfect. Pray for the Lord's will and for all concerned to see Him and His work in her. And pray for her husband and [grown] kids, that they may find God's peace through all of this.

In my first transaction with Wicked Lasers (aka Energy Technology Development Limited), I bought a new product of theirs. They extracted the funds from my credit card immediately, contrary to the ethical and typical practice of taking the funds only upon shipment of the product(s). They then went incommunicado for weeks, even ignoring requests for information. They proceeded to provide one excuse after another for why they hadn't shipped the product, worded to suggest this was common to all customers of this particular product, but I have no good way of verifying that. » read more »

A study conducted by UCLA's Department of Psychiatry has revealed that the kind of face a woman finds attractive on a man can differ depending on where she is in her menstrual cycle. For example: if she is ovulating, she is attracted to men with rugged and masculine features. » read more »

Due to an increased number of spammers and hackers, I'm afraid I'm increasing security on TuscanyCircle's front door. When logging in, you'll need to pass a CAPTCHA. Should be straightforward. If you don't like the selection, you can request another via CAPTCHA form, and you can even choose an audio version. To make up for this annoyance, I've also extended the login time (how long you stay logged in). Visit the site at least monthly, and your login session should remain active, on any given terminal, for over 3 years. » read more »

BrightGuy sells flashlights, but this is really an understatement. Of specific interest to me, BrightGuy sells Streamlight products at great prices. Better still, BrightGuy's service has been wonderful. » read more »

TuscanyCircle has had https capability for a long time. Https encrypts all the information passing between TuscanyCircle and your browser, insuring any interception (by bad guys) is rendered useless. It's currently enabled only for logging in. However, it can be turned on for all of TC. Would you like this? » read more »

Oasis Window Tinting, in Lawrenceville, is a wonderfully professional and high-quality business. They'll tint your automobile's windows in short order (often less than an hour)—by appointment only—but they also do residential and commercial tinting. Their work is superb, and they stand behind it. They've been in business for over 25 years, a good sign and a rarity in the tinting business. They're knowledgeable, and they take the time to make sure you are, too, before you purchase. Their prices are very competitive, but their quality is top-notch. » read more »

A school teacher injured his back and had to wear a plaster cast around the upper part of his body. Fortunately, the cast fit under his shirt and wasn't even noticeable.
On the first day of class, he found himself assigned to the toughest students in the school. Walking confidently into the rowdy classroom, he opened the window wide and sat down at his desk. When a strong breeze made his tie flap, he took the stapler and stapled the tie to his chest.
He had no trouble with discipline that year.
