Arabs' claim to Israel

Muslim Arabs' claim to the Holy Land are based upon their supposed longevity in the area. That is to say, they claim Arabs have always been there, and that Jews displaced them. In fact, the evidence shows otherwise.

Jews immigrated to their ancestral lands and brought with them modern technology. For the first time in centuries—since the Roman-induced diaspora—Eretz Yisrael (the land of Israel) was flowering, economically and literally. This European-Jewish prosperity attracted neighboring Arabs who had lived in relative squalor for centuries. (I contend that Islam all but demands stagnation, rejecting those traits leading to progress.) In other words, the Arabs followed the Jews' migration to Eretz Yisrael.

Arabs have no such longevity there. Their claim to the Temple Mount is bogus, as even the Koran affirms the Jews' right to Jerusalem. In stark contrast, archeological evidence overwhelmingly places the Jews as an unbroken presence in the Holy Land (even during the Babylonian- and Roman-induced periods of diaspora, though significantly diminished in population). Documentary evidence also confirms the Jewish heritage that is Eretz Yisrael (the Koran and Bible being but two such documents).

Centuries, even millennia, before the moon god became "Allah", before Muhammed babbled the Koran and "married" a little girl, before modern Arabs' false claims to it, Eretz Yisrael was Jewish land bequeathed by God.

History Repeats

While we watch history repeat itself as our government recreates the Great Depression, we also find Israel at the threshold of repeating a disastrous history. In 63 B.C., two Jewish contenders for the rule of autonomous Israel (having kicked out the Greeks some time ago) invited Rome in to settle their dispute. Rome indeed moved in but didn't leave for 500 years. Now, over 2000 years later, Israel is close to making the same mistake again!

This time, Bibi and Livni are vying for rule of Israel. Livni's Kadima party won more seats, but she is seemingly unable to create a coalition government, meaning she cannot serve as Prime Minister after all. Bibi can easily muster together his government, but his Lukid party didn't win the largest share of seats in the Knesset. Rumors are flying around that each of these candidates may be involved in backroom deals with Osbama Hussein, American's illegitimate President, to insure his or her supremacy in the fight for leadership. If any of these rumors is true, it means Israel's two contenders for Israeli rule are once again inviting in "Rome" (the prevailing world power) to settle their dispute. (Need I show ample evidence that America can be easily likened to ancient Rome?) This could be disastrous for Israel, if the Lord tarries. Livni or Bibi, either one, would be better for Israel than Obama (a closet Islamist?) in controlling the tiny nation.

It's painfully obvious to anyone with an IQ of at least three digits that the recent course of Israel has been manipulated by today's "Rome" and for "Rome's" benefit only, namely via the ubiquitous "two-state solution". (This sounds a little too much like a final solution to me.) Bibi offers the potential for the denial of this "solution" that is sure to be the end of many Israeli lives, unless he's in cahoots with Barack bin Laden. On the other hand, Livni's Kadima party appears to be predicated on subservience to "Rome's" wishes on the matter.

Keep watching Israel (always a good idea anyway). If the Holy Land continues to be divided, whether under Tzipi Livni or under Benjamin Netanyahu, be warned, America is likely behind it, and we will suffer for it. Likewise, Israel will suffer, as it always does under American influence, for having invited "Rome" to pick its leader.

Crucifixion Legalized

In Israel, in Gush Katif--Gaza is what the Arabs call it, but it's legally and Biblically Israeli territory--the ruling Hamas terror group has legalized crucifixion as a valid way to carry out executions under Shari'a law.

...Coming soon to your neighborhood.

Israel and Gaza

Israel is finally reacting to the thousands of missiles launched by the Arabs in Gaza into civilian areas, towns, neighborhoods, and homes in southern Israeli towns near Gaza. Good for Israel! I still think they reacted too slowly and too late, but at least they're finally protecting their citizens from Arab terrorists.

Not long ago, the Israeli government evicted over ten thousand Jewish Israelis from their homes and businesses in Gaza and turned the area over to the Arabs. The Hamas terror group took over and began a years-long campaign of launching missiles into neighboring towns. Israel did nothing. Cease-fires were called and agreed to, yet the Arabs made no effort to abide by them. Israel did nothing. Hundreds of thousands of people were terrorized by the missiles with sirens sounding at all hours. Many were injured. Homes destroyed. Citizens murdered by the Gaza Arabs. Israel did nothing. No other nations condemned the Arab terrorists. The news outlets refused to call them terrorists, even though they targeted civilians (almost exclusively); the worst you could get from the "journalists" ("propagandists" is more accurate) was calling the terrorists "militants". Israel did nothing. (Israel's leadership for the last several years has been abysmally anti-Jewish and pro-Arab in its policies, willing to give away Israeli land to the terrorists, forcefully remove Israeli citizens from their lawful homes, and worse.)

Finally, years later and many deaths later, Israel launches numerous surgical strikes against Hamas in Gaza, only targeting known terrorists, missile-launching platforms, and the like. The death toll is amazingly minimal considering just how many people in Gaza are actually members of Hamas. They are using advanced weapons designed to drastically minimize collateral damage. (One could reasonably argue that there is no such thing as collateral damage in Gaza, as all the Arabs there--even little children--desire the death of all Jews and of Israel and participate in terror activities in some fashion or other.) Israel is going well above and beyond the call of moral duty to protect the Arabs from their long overdue, self-defensive actions. Nevertheless, the "international community" ("mob of morons" is more like it) is condemning Israel for defending itself.

Cynthia McKinney, that most evil megalomaniac, was trying to enter Gaza recently. Of course, her story of what happened was highly inaccurate, but she's a daughter of the Father of Lies, after all. I'm just sorry the Israeli navy didn't sink her yacht or at least throw that <female dog> under their propellers.

I look forward to the future God has planned, when all the world comes to Israel to bow before her King, the Lord Jesus.

3000 year old site

Despite significant evidence, including Biblical, of Israel's long history, the tiny nation regularly struggles against revisionists to prove its legitimacy in God's Holy Land. This dig of a 3000-year-old fortress has already begun to reveal valuable confirmation of Israel's history, even though only 4% of the site has been excavated so far.

Archeologists found a piece of pottery with ancient Hebrew writing, the oldest ever found so far. In fact, it seems they have been finding far more material than is usual for such sites, probably because the site was not rebuilt in successive generations. If you want, you can even participate in the dig next summer. The fortress dates to the time of King David, an archetype and ancestor of the future Messiah. It was apparently on the front lines of the ongoing war with the Philistines.

The fortress of Elah overlooks the Valley of Elah, the site where young David killed Goliath, David was anointed to be king of Israel by that time, but had not yet taken the throne. (Saul was king.) "Anointed" is the meaning of "messiah", by the way. As 1 Samuel 17 records that the Israelites were camped in the Valley of Elah, it's reasonable to believe the fortress was not yet built when David took on Goliath but was erected later in the ongoing war with Goliath's immoral people.

Free Pollard

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/?pageId=84195

It seems, at end of the day, Pollard is "guilty" of single-handedly forcing the U.S. to abide by its legal treaty with Israel, hardly a crime.

Don't Fear an Obama Administration

Stan writes:

I am neither troubled nor dismayed as I watch, from Jerusalem, the growing line-up of officials selected to fill the powerful posts of the soon-to-be invested Obama administration.
...
But against our God, even the most powerful people are powerless.

Amen!

For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, "Abba! Father!" Romans 8:15
