Attacks on freedom

Politicians like to call terrorism "attacks on our freedom". Of course, this is nonsense. It's nothing of the sort. For example, these Muslims (no surprise there) tried to blow up some Jews. Mayor Bloomberg says:

"This latest attempt to attack our freedoms shows that the homeland security threats against New York City are sadly all too real and underscores why we must remain vigilant in our efforts to prevent terrorism."

What Muslims do has no effect on freedom. Freedom, by definition, is a victim of government. Only government can attack our freedom...and, boy, does it ever! Freedom means freedom from government intervention. Government's very existence is an attack on freedom (not that I advocate anarchy). Everything government does, every expansion, every usurpation, every tax, every regulation, and certainly every abuse—these are the real attacks on our freedom. Only a very few of these attacks on freedom are morally legitimate (namely, punishing evildoers*). The rest are in violation of God's Natural Law.

Just as in the war against Islam, politicians are completely unable to identify properly freedom's enemy.

*"Evildoers" must have a commonly held definition—else there's no viable society—and it must be based upon the unchanging morality as defined by God.

Iran's WMD

Iran's shopping list reveals their intentions.

Missile accuracy appears to be a key Iranian goal. In one of Mr. Morgenthau's cases -- the prosecution of Chinese citizen Li Fang Wei and his LIMMT company for allegedly scamming Manhattan banks to slip past sanctions on Iran -- the DA uncovered a list that included 400 sophisticated gyroscopes and 600 accelerometers. These are critical for developing accurate long-range missiles. He also found that Iran was acquiring a rare metal called tantalum, "used in those roadside bombs that are being used against our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan." So much for the media notion that Iran has played no part in killing American GIs.

The briefest of visits to Wikipedia shows tantalum has another use far more sinister than roadside bombs:

Tantalum has been proposed as a "salting" material for nuclear weapons (cobalt is another, better-known salting material). A jacket of 181Ta, irradiated by the intense high-energy neutron flux from an exploding thermonuclear weapon, would transmute into the radioactive isotope 182Ta with a half-life of 114.43 days and produce approximately 1.12 MeV of gamma radiation, significantly increasing the radioactivity of the weapon's fallout for several months. Such a weapon is not known to have ever been built, tested, or used.

The typical fallout from a fission bomb will tend to subside to relatively safe levels in about two weeks (this depends upon a number of factors, of course). Salting the same bomb with tantalum could extend this fallout period to one or two years (again, depending upon a number of factors). That sucks.

I wonder if Iran developed their nuclear know-how from Wikipedia.

The Lord is a man of war

Exodus 15:3 popped out at me today.

<bdo dir="RTL">יהוה</bdo> (the LORD) is a man of war; <bdo dir="RTL">יהוה</bdo> (the LORD) is His name.

The Lord is not a pacifist, and neither are His followers commanded to be so. Christians are not to be doormats, not for illegal invaders, Muslim killers, or lawless rulers. Those wussy, socialist (thieving) weenies who wrongly espouse the moniker "Christian" do not represent Biblically Christian values. God may be love, and He surely prefers this, but He's just as much "a man of war."

Denial of God's revealed character, or a portion thereof, is a sinful attempt to fashion an idol made after man's heart. Today's church, having abandoned or perverted the Word of God, needs to repent of this sin and let God be who He is.

Just Here For Jobs

http://www.cnsnews.com/public/content/article...

One of the nine people charged in the kidnapping and stabbing death of a 15-year-old boy in Montgomery County, Md., is an illegal immigrant who escaped a prison in El Salvador where he was jailed for homicide and gun trafficking, according to the Montgomery County Police Department.

For every "illegal immigrant" (foreign invader) here supposedly for employment, there's another here for crime. Of course, the stupid leftists (pardon the redundancy) forget that the "just for jobs" ones are already criminals because they failed to use the front door.

All you fools who think there's a substantive difference between the two Parties, tell me this: where's your alternate choice when both factions treasonously support illegal immigration?

Game Over

Vox agrees:

I declared Game Over some time ago and I've seen nothing to convince me to even begin contemplating changing my mind. I don't know why people seem to have such a hard time understanding that once the rollercoaster passes a certain point, there is no going back. Now, there's nothing to do except do one's best to enjoy the ride.

America is dead. Democracy, especially a republican one, is dead. Freedom is dead the world over. All that's left is rock bottom, and it may take us quite a while to get there, and then we can rebuild...maybe.

I think another revolution, if it's able to happen, will be one manifestation of the rebuilding phase. To this end, I've been thinking often about the differences between our first, successful Revolution and the next one. Specifically, will the next revolution be successful? What will be required?

I've already mentioned things like the "pamphlets" and books (e.g., blogs, self-publishing). Education about the nature of freedom and government is also necessary, and a new, elite class of potential rulers is necessary (e.g., homeschooling). [Don't misunderstand me. I'm not suggesting this elite class is more valuable as human beings, per se, but that they are specially trained as Special Forces are specially trained, albeit for Godly rule.] I've mentioned the need to be armed, but we're way behind the curve there. At best, all we have is small arms. In no way would today's militia be on par with the corrupt government's military. This disparity, while a marked difference between then and now, can be diminished by the use of guerrilla tactics. The number of patriots is only growing, thanks to the fedgov turning up the heat on this frog. The pulpits are still not aflame with righteousness, though—the vast majority of clergy wouldn't know righteousness anymore anyway—but there is a growing, if still very small, segment of church leaders standing up and preaching Truth.

Our evil rulers are not "over there", though, on the other side of an ocean. But then, the Brits had their troops here already then, too. Along with guerrilla tactics, local patriots would have to remain local. It's our homes we'll be defending. Any troops sent in the by feds will be from elsewhere. In fact, that's one of the difficulties with a standing military; they often have no real homes. This gives patriots an advantage, even if the seat of power is not an ocean away.

We largely lack the manufacturing skills to develop our own arms now. Sure, the arms companies can do it, but there's no way to know if they might knuckle under the might of the fedgov, leaving patriots no choice but to make their own arms and ammo. This skill is all but lost. I expect, though, it would be revived fairly quickly, as patriots tend to be rugged individualists. Ma and Pa machine shops will turn out barrels rather than custom car parts. Black powder is easy enough to make; we would just need to disseminate the know-how (ref., ref.). Lead shot is easy, too, except that the feds have done a good job of removing lead from just about everything. All in all, we could manage, if push came to shove.

Safe harbors will be more difficult to find today than they were then. Small-Town USA may be among the safest places, and we'll probably find more sympathizers to freedom's cause there. But disappearing is nigh impossible with today's omnipresent Big Brother. Stashing our families for their safety will not be a simple task, but I'll wager it'll still be feasible.

One major difference is the global reach of Islam today. This may work to our advantage Islamic tyranny may provide a backdrop conducive to rebellion. Oppressed Muslims may be increasingly wanting the individual freedom Christ offers even while maintaining a superior moral code. On the other hand, while Muslims may be keen on toppling corrupt governments, without acceptance of Jesus Christ as their Lord, they'll just want to install their own tyrants.

Like the late 18th century, when we succeed in restoring freedom, our only hope of a Godly government to replace the present corrupt one, will be to replace wholesale the leadership. Nobody affiliated with the present government must be allowed to rule again. I dare say this goes from the top all the way down to the local civil servant. Anyone remaining to perpetuate the status quo will indeed try, knowingly or un-, to do just that. I am not even hinting at anything violent against the old regimes, mind you, but they still must not be allowed to continue their old, evil ways in the next incarnation of America.

What else differs between then and now? Do we have all the ingredients necessary for a successful revolution? Will we be ready to rule a wiser, more mature culture when we emerge victorious? What will the effect be worldwide? Just as our first Revolution set off a chain of events toward self-rule among the nations of the world, will the next revolution kick-start a global movement toward individual freedom?

The saints are praying en masse for the Lord's return. It's not up to us, but if He should come soon—and I believe the signs point to it—then the coming revolution will be much grander than we could have ever done on our own. The victory will be His alone, and the justice will be far more complete than any justice of man's doing. Lord, I pray you do return soon, but if you tarry, we will be found acting in obedience to you.

Rebellion and Revolution

States are beginning to defy the fedgov. Patriots are arming themselves for potential, defensive rebellion against domestic tyranny. An armed revolution against the fedgov is not beyond possibility. These events and considerations bring to mind many questions.

When are we to begin arming ourselves? I highly recommend now, if you haven't already. Under what conditions should we flee our homes to safer places? When should a man leave his family in armed support of fellow patriots? If this happens, families should be sent someplace safe, of course. When are our lifestyles, our jobs, our communities to be given up in favor of patriotic rebellion and/or relative safety?

Who is the enemy? Obviously, domestic governments are, especially the fedgov, but we've done such a good job of spreading accountability so thin that it's difficult to justify naming particular people as enemies. How are we to regard the military and police forces under the command of the enemy? They are our brothers and may be merely ignorant of the evil they serve. (I know this is no excuse eternally, but it puts patriots in an awful position in this world.) What about the bureaucrats executing corrupt orders? Are they the enemy, too, even though they may not be in "law enforcement"? In other words, and most brutally honest, whom are patriots justified in killing in defense of freedom? Under what kinds of conditions?

If there is to be another revolution (what's this one to be? the fourth for America?), it must be a just one, else we lose the moral footing for our actions. A just war is easier to see internationally but more challenging domestically. The "legitimate authority" is the evil enemy; thus, what is the moral, legitimate authority in case of righteous rebellion? The seceding state government (not that it's any less corrupt than the fedgov)? The Lord Himself? As with any just war, I expect the vast majority of combatants (on the side of righteousness) will be ignorant of the moral justification and will even push the limits of morality in their actions. Individually, they'll answer for it, of course, but the proper case must still be made by the rebels' leadership.

I find many answers—some right and some arguably less so—in the writings of the leaders of the first American Revolution, but I do not see things so clearly as black and white. <bdo dir="RTL">יהוה</bdo> (the LORD) is our Judge, and He may be the only One able to be such, so at the very least, we are each held individually accountable for our choices in any coming revolution. Nevertheless, the difficult questions must be asked and answered to the best of our meager abilities if we hope to remain in His favor. Seek His wisdom. Study His Word. Pray for deliverance from evil. Pray for discernment and strength to obey. Remain ever faithful to Him.

http://www.noillegals.com/Hlaws.htm :

Harboring means any conduct that tends to substantially facilitate an alien to remain in the U.S. illegally.

This clearly includes things like:

Hiring illegals.

Allowing illegals to purchase homes.

Giving illegals mortgages.

Letting illegals open bank accounts.

Giving illegals access to government services (e.g., welfare, schools, bailout funds, etc.).

Providing services/products in illegals' native languages.

All of these substantially facilitate illegals' ability to remain in the U.S. illegally and are therefore violations of federal law.

We know why illegals do what they do (self-interest). We know why businesses harbor them (again, self-interest, profit). I'm not entirely sure why the fedgov refuses to enforce the law, though. As many illegals as are here, they still do not represent a majority voting bloc (forget the fact they're not supposed to be voting at all!), so why do the feds protect illegals? Even more so, why do American citizens allow the feds (and both Parties) to hand over our nation to foreign invaders without even a hint of a fight?

These federal agents--Congress, the President (or the poser now usurping the office), the FBI, and even the leadership of the Border Patrol--are all complicit with this invasion and can justifiably be named traitors to the United States. Likewise for the banks that give them accounts and mortgages, the real estate agents giving them homes, the employers giving them jobs, and the countless businesses who offer their services in languages other than English (excluding ASL and Braille).

I see two possible outcomes:

America is forever lost to invaders, thanks to these traitors; or

Americans begin taking matters into the own hands.

I am having great difficulty finding anything morally wrong with the latter.

Civil War

Civil war is coming to America. This time, the moral high ground will be obvious to all but the totally moronic. Those few of you who are true patriots, willing to die to protect individual liberty as granted by the Creator Himself, may want to ready yourselves.

The Cost of Losing a War

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/?pageId=86471

I really can't add much to this article. In short, it shows how unchecked, illegal "immigration" has led to the banking meltdown.

Russian Predicts America's Demise

A respected Russian analyst predicts the U.S. will dissolve into six parts in 2010. He's certainly right about the reasons for such a prediction. As this depression mimics the 1873 one more than the 1929 one, there's also a good chance the U.S. will emerge the loser, geopolitically and economically speaking. In other words, yes, Russia and China (and India?) will likely emerge as the world leaders economically. This kind of collapse could indeed come as soon as 2010, just as soon as foreign lenders realize Obama isn't the Messiah (duh).

What I'm not sure about is his prediction of six pieces and the foreign takeovers of these pieces. A single event could tip the scales one of a few different ways. For example, he thinks the South will be essentially Mexican, but rage against illegal invaders--given the right event(s)--could do just the opposite. In any case, it's a fair bet that we'll be living in "interesting times".
