I often think Jews (of the modern Jewish religion, that is) have a better handle on proper evangelism than Christians. In their zeal to spread the Good News, Christians have chosen to cheapen the faith. Discipleship is no longer costly, we're told. All it takes is the Sinner's Prayer, they say. Believe and confess—that's all. Accept Jesus into our hearts—whatever that might mean—and there's nothing more expected of us, or so it's badly preached.
