I drove my son to school this morning. On the way, I drove thru a big puddle of water on a road going thru construction improvements. I made it to school, but the power steering went out right before I dropped dear son off. Then the van started overheating, so I parked in the school parking lot and called my hubby.

Dear hubby came to the rescue from work and worked on the van in the pouring rain to get it fixed. He had to take the wheel off the front passenger side to get underneath the van, jacked up, to fix what needed to be fixed.

While dear hubby is lying down on the ground, under the jacked up van, in the pouring rain, comes a lady driving her minivan. She decides the best place to park is near my van, and drives right past my hubby on the ground to get to the spot. She could have run over him. She didn't say a word as she walked past us to get to the school.

When she came back out to leave, she did the exact same thing. She got in her van and drove right past my hubby, who was on the ground again still in the rain, to leave the school grounds. This time she was on her cell phone as well.

This stupid freaking idiot of a woman driver did not have the human decency to drive around the long way to get in and out of her parking space. She walked right past us so she KNEW we had car problems. She drove slow, but still drove too freaking close to my hubby who was on the ground. I don't know how she could have seen him. And with the pouring rain and noise, I'm not sure my hubby even heard her come and go in her van (a new Nissan model). If he had rolled out from under the van, she would have driven right over him.

I must mention that EVERYONE ELSE who saw our minivan up on a jack with the hood up and hubby underneath did NOT drive anywhere near us. They went around the long way. So THANK YOU to them.

If you see this idiot driver on the road, stay away from her. She's driving a gold Nissan Quest with license plate BC1J38 (I think... I know the first 3 are right). It was a breast cancer plate. URGH.

To end on a good note, dear hubby was our HERO today and fixed our van, which is how I got home to create this vent. The serpentine belt came off thanks to driving thru that big puddle.
