I'm sad to say the recital this year was the worst one yet. Not only was the venue horrible (Collins Hill Prison--er, High School--instead of Brenau's century-old, classic theater), but the choreography was sub-par and amateurish. It seems the school even has a reputation with outsiders as a place to dance for fun, but not for the serious dancer. The recital this spring cemented that perception, to be sure. Great potential is being thrown away. Pray things may someday turn around.
