Real Angels
Some people see miracles everywhere, and it waters down the truth. Here, many people are claiming they see an angel in the hallway of a hospital. The reflections of the supposed angel on the waxed floor obviously indicate merely reflected light. WND's poll has "angel" at the top of the list (38%) with "reflected light" a very distant second (12%).
The Bible clearly describes angels. Angels look like ordinary men. Sometimes, they appear gloriously, but many times, they are not easily identified as angels. Some prophets' visions have included winged beings (and with animal heads), though the wings described look nothing like the now popular descriptions (e.g., in the visions, they have six of them!).
Don't fall for popular fantasies. Don't attribute things to the Almighty unless you're really sure--and I don't mean emotionally sure (the Bible speaks often about how our hearts lie, deceive, and delude us). Don't focus on miracles and the supernatural as if they were the point; these can be distractions. The Lord wants us in relationship with Him. Don't cheapen the faith with false worship of signs and wonders (ref. and ref.).
