Oprah's new (false) gospel

Greetings,

This was sent in by an FCET member. It is "quite alarming" indeed and
relates to Oprah's "new gospel". You should be aware. I would encourage
you to pass this on to others, because huge numbers are evidently being
swept away by it. And it leads straight to hell.

There is also other literature out there concerning this and it is well
defended: Eg.

Oprah - a possible anti-Christ?

I saw this over a month ago. It made me sick to my core. The thought occurred to me then and now is renewed... could she be the anti-Christ?

In a way, it makes sense.

  • She already has a following of millions all around the world.
  • Technology today makes it easy to do TV and webcasts to all of her followers so that everyone receives the same message at the same time.
  • Christians are getting sucked into this false religion.
  • I don't remember the Scriptures saying that the anti-Christ would be male, so it being an influential female shouldn't be a stretch (however I could be wrong here).
  • If she's not the anti-Christ, then could she be a pre-cursor? One who prepares the way so to speak.

    Not THE but AN antichrist

There will be all kinds of antichrists near the end of this age. Oprah easily qualifies as one, but she's merely one among many (thousands? more?). She's not the Antichrist, because she's missing too many of his traits (see http://www.stempublishing.com/...).

    Prelude

I think this may just be yet another prelude to the Apostasy and the eventual Sheep-n-Goats Judgment. I cannot begin to tell you how difficult it has been to find a church that teaches the Truth, the whole Truth, and nothing but the Truth. Instead, so-called Christians (clergy are the worst!) prefer their perversions of the Word. If it's this bad within the incorporated church, why would we expect a moron like Oprah to get it right?

I said I saw this as a possible prelude to the Apostasy, but I think I may be in error there. It may not be something leading up to it but a symptom that we're in the midst of it.
