Poetry
My wife and daughter left this morning to visit our other daughter in South Dakota. She had just returned from her second tour in Iraq. As my younger daughter was saying good-bye, she slipped me a little piece of scrap, folded paper. On the front, she had written:
Read this whenever you miss me.

Unfolded, on the inside, she had composed this beautiful poem:
I love you.
You are my heart.
I always miss you
when we're apart.Whatever happens,
we'll see each other again,
and when we're together,
our happiness shall never end!
