Israel and Gaza
Israel is finally reacting to the thousands of missiles launched by the Arabs in Gaza into civilian areas, towns, neighborhoods, and homes in southern Israeli towns near Gaza. Good for Israel! I still think they reacted too slowly and too late, but at least they're finally protecting their citizens from Arab terrorists.
Not long ago, the Israeli government evicted over ten thousand Jewish Israelis from their homes and businesses in Gaza and turned the area over to the Arabs. The Hamas terror group took over and began a years-long campaign of launching missiles into neighboring towns. Israel did nothing. Cease-fires were called and agreed to, yet the Arabs made no effort to abide by them. Israel did nothing. Hundreds of thousands of people were terrorized by the missiles with sirens sounding at all hours. Many were injured. Homes destroyed. Citizens murdered by the Gaza Arabs. Israel did nothing. No other nations condemned the Arab terrorists. The news outlets refused to call them terrorists, even though they targeted civilians (almost exclusively); the worst you could get from the "journalists" ("propagandists" is more accurate) was calling the terrorists "militants". Israel did nothing. (Israel's leadership for the last several years has been abysmally anti-Jewish and pro-Arab in its policies, willing to give away Israeli land to the terrorists, forcefully remove Israeli citizens from their lawful homes, and worse.)
Finally, years later and many deaths later, Israel launches numerous surgical strikes against Hamas in Gaza, only targeting known terrorists, missile-launching platforms, and the like. The death toll is amazingly minimal considering just how many people in Gaza are actually members of Hamas. They are using advanced weapons designed to drastically minimize collateral damage. (One could reasonably argue that there is no such thing as collateral damage in Gaza, as all the Arabs there--even little children--desire the death of all Jews and of Israel and participate in terror activities in some fashion or other.) Israel is going well above and beyond the call of moral duty to protect the Arabs from their long overdue, self-defensive actions. Nevertheless, the "international community" ("mob of morons" is more like it) is condemning Israel for defending itself.
Cynthia McKinney, that most evil megalomaniac, was trying to enter Gaza recently. Of course, her story of what happened was highly inaccurate, but she's a daughter of the Father of Lies, after all. I'm just sorry the Israeli navy didn't sink her yacht or at least throw that <female dog> under their propellers.
I look forward to the future God has planned, when all the world comes to Israel to bow before her King, the Lord Jesus.

A formula for perpetual war
Hal Lindsey describes a formula for perpetual war in Israel.
Excerpts:
As the current Israeli war against Hamas in Gaza continues, the worldwide propaganda assault against Israel grows exponentially. In the light of this, it's important to review a little history about Gaza. In 2005, Israel unilaterally withdrew from Gaza and completely turned its administration over to the Palestinian Authority. All of the Jewish settlements were disbanded and their residents forcibly removed. The Israeli agricultural, commercial and residential assets – which were considerable – were left for the Palestinians.
They promptly trashed and destroyed these valuable assets that would have greatly helped them feed their own people. They were given the freedom to develop what easily could have been something like a "Hong Kong" of the Mediterranean. Many nations poured billions of dollars into the coffers of the Palestinian leadership to help them realize that dream.
Instead, the Palestinians used the money to build a terrorist army. They purchased weapons and munitions to equip that army. They smuggled into Gaza a formidable arsenal and began to launch daily attacks on Israel's cities.
...
Since 2005, more than 6,000 rockets have rained down on Israeli cities from Gaza. In a display of remarkable restraint, only after three years and thousands of unprovoked attacks did Israel finally feel sufficiently justified to launch a defensive response.
...
In Gaza, Hamas terrorists hide in classrooms and hospital basements. They store weapons in mosques and use university laboratories for bomb-making factories. They are currently hiding long-range rockets in the basement of Gaza City's main hospital. They intentionally place women and children on the rooftops of buildings they know will soon be targets of the Israeli air force.
...
This is the formula that has always worked. The Islamic fundamentalists know this formula well. Terrorist organizations like Hezbollah and Hamas have perfected the use of this formula to the point of making it a "tactic of war." Islamic terrorists attack and fight until they begin to lose. Then the world rushes in and rescues them to fight another day.
...
What is it about Israel that makes it the world's pariah state? How can it be that no insult to the Arabs is too slight to justify wholesale murder, whereas no atrocity, no matter how outrageous, justifies an Israeli defensive response? It matters not how reasonable and legitimate the defensive action would be for any other nation. But leaders from around the world have streamed into the U.N. to defend the "Palestinian democracy" – as if such an entity exists.
It makes absolutely no sense in the natural. Only the Bible can explain the mystery behind the supernatural hatred of the Jews. Bible prophecy predicted that Israel would be miraculously reborn in "the last days." The Bible also predicted that a supernatural hatred against Jews would grow worldwide. This will be soon followed by Armageddon and the return of Jesus the Messiah.
All of this is being fulfilled to the letter before our eyes. So don't be surprised or afraid. Christ's return to deliver those who have believed in Him is coming very soon.

Defending Israel's Right to Exist
Someone finally comes to Israel's defense.
My proposed solution is this: give fair warning (a month? six months?) for the Arabs to vacate Gaza*, then blow it to oblivion, whatever and whomever is left. I'd recommend nukes, just to really drive the point home and as a possible (unlikely but possible) deterrent.
*To where would these Arabs flee? How about another Arab nation:
Geez! How many nations do these evil bastards need to satisfy them? Answer: as many as it takes to (a) eliminate Israel and then (b) take over the entire world. All praise to Allah, the god of illiterate homosexuals.
