The neglected media source:

What happened to radio?

News radio is a joke

I wasn't a devotee of news radio back when it was worthwhile (I am assuming that it was at some point), but I've listened to it enough in recent years to know that it is quite useless as a source of news. It is a bunch of stories delivered rapid fire with minimal content, interspersed with the odd traffic report, repeated weather updates (how much does the weather forecast change in 7.5 minutes?), and interminable commercials. Except for the ads, it's like headline news for hummingbirds on meth.
