At present, the news aggregator is configured to delete RSS feed data after 1 day. This is due to a couple of news sources that feed over 1000 items every day, enlarging the database usage to something approaching limits. As time permits, I will investigate customizing the aggregator module to make the history setting configurable per source rather than for all sources. This will enable me to throttle these voluminous sources while providing some reasonable history for the feeds which are infrequent and small. I'll update this forum topic once this change has been made.
