Knights and Dames of TuscanyCircle
Knights and Dames of TuscanyCircle
The Knights and Dames of TuscanyCircle is an order of men and women living a lifelong dedication to Biblical ideals, perfect ethics, rigorous piety, and selfless service in the family, the church, and the world, all for God's glory. The most succinct description of these values is perfection1.
Not meant as a "holier than thou" order, such knighthood is certainly "holier than I was yesterday" for each knight or dame, with constant effort toward Godly perfection. This perfection is neither sinless nor self-aggrandizing, but a full maturity achievable only by the Lord's efforts in us to which we increasingly yield.
Originally designed as goals for ourselves, ideals for which we may strive, the Knights and Dames of TuscanyCircle is an order open to others willing to make such a commitment. As this commitment is of utmost seriousness, it is not entered lightly.
The Knights (and Dames, Squires, and Pages) of TuscanyCircle is not a club. It's not an opportunity to brag about one's own accomplishments. It is a way of recognizing a person's devotion and obedience to the Lord [in specific areas largely chosen as a reaction to the degradation of our modern culture]. It is meant to inspire others to spiritually grow for the Lord, too. Just as the early church was told to imitate Paul's example of a Godly servant (1 Corinthians 4:16), so others may be inspired by the example of this order of modern knighthood.
These virtues are expected of the Knights and Dames of TuscanyCircle: discipleship, discipline, faith, forbearance, generosity, honesty, honor, industry, integrity, justice, kindness, knowledge, lawfulness, love, maturity, mercy, obedience, patience, perfection1, piety, purity, purpose, self-control, selflessness, service, transparency, trustworthiness, and wisdom.

Note 1: Perfection is best understood as full maturity in spirit, intellect, and emotion.
