Counseling

As a called and ordained minister for Christ Jesus, Wayne is equipped for sound, Biblical counseling. Wayne's experience and wisdom (as granted by God's grace) provide him with insights into many areas of life. His gifts equip him to minister and counsel in God's will. Biblical counseling is offered as a ministry in the following areas:

The location for counseling is typically our home. When minors are counseled, the presence of two adults is required, so as to avoid any hint of impropriety. A nearby parent is most typically the second adult. Even when the counseled is not a minor, but a woman, a second adult must be nearby. This is for the ethical and legal protection of all.

Counseling is kept confidential, and privacy is respected. The content of counsel will not be divulged to anyone (except the Lord), nor will the existence of the counseling relationship--unless explicit permission is granted by the counseled.

Counseling is covered heavily by prayer, both within the counseling sessions as well as at other times. It is by the grace of God that we see sin conquered in our lives, so we appeal to Him for salvation, restoration, and sanctification.

Counseling needs exceeding Wayne's calling are referred to highly gifted, Christian counselors specially trained to meet greater needs.
